Antique Spoon Ring created from Stieff Sterling Rose Pattern ca 1930's.  This piece will be a tribute to the fine craftsmanship of the Stieff Company as well as their contribution to defending the US during WWII.  This Rose pattern was first issued in 1892 and continued in production though the 1940's. The spoons to be used for your ring will have been made sometime in 1929 or soon after WWII, the timing based on the makers mark.    As such, your treasured piece will range from approximately 71 to 91 years old.  A perfect Mother's Day gift.  This pattern will be best for a double wrap for sizes between 7.5 to 10.  The final product will be beautiful and substantial. 

"What would eventually be known as The Stieff Company was incorporated on December 2, 1892 under the name “The Florence Sterling Silver Company” and had a combined factory and showroom at 110 West Fayette Street in Baltimore.  The FLORENCE name was a temporary “holding name” until the company could be reorganized and re-opened as The Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company.
